The International Remittance Juddah Shonshod has proposed the formation of an advisory board within Bangladesh’s Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment to ensure meaningful participation of expatriate representatives in policymaking and decision-making concerning their welfare, rights, and dignity.
In a letter dated October 26, 2026, the organisation submitted the proposal to Prime Minister Tariq Rahman, requesting his kind consideration and necessary directives regarding the formation of the proposed advisory board. The organisation has requested the Prime Minister to consider the proposal and issue the necessary instructions. It has also expressed its willingness to provide further information and participate in discussions on the matter. The letter was issued under the name of Advocate ANM Essa, Founder and Convener of the International Remittance Juddah Shonshod.
